To Transcarpathian Hungarians: “Ne hagyjátok magatokat becsapni!” – “Do not let them to use you!” (OPINION)

Uzhgorod.in received from a representative of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia the following letter (in original language). 

«Ne hagyjátok magatokat becsapni!

Biztos forrásokbol tudomást szereztünk arrol, hogy bizonyos személyek tüntetéseket szerveznek augusztus 8-10-én az etnikai magyarok behivása sa magyar állam e kérdésben való halgatagos álláspontja ellen a megyében müködő magyar diplomáciai intézményeknél.

Magyarok! Ne csináljuk ezt! Ezzel a Jobbik malmára hajtjuk a vizet, amely kizárolag saját politikai céljait akarja elérni, s melynek mindegy, hogy az ilyen akciók csak lejáratnak minket a többi kárpátaljai szemében ».

Translation: "Do not let them use you! From reliable sources, we have learned about certain persons planning to organize protests on August 8-10 with intention to draw attention of the diplomatic missions of Hungary to the fact that they do not respond to the call of ethnic Hungarians to the Ukrainian armed forces.

Hungarians! Do not fall for provocation! Partaking in these actions, you will promote the Yobbik party who do not care about your life, and seek to achieve their own political interests only! By doing so, we will only incite mistrust of us in our own region!".

Well – conscious community should listen to this call…
