The third level of avalanche warning is being kept. Heavy weather, wet snow, rising of water level in rivers and stronger winds are expected.
The most intense precipitation is forecasted to the central and western parts of the region, in particular, the districts of Volovets, Velykyi Bereznyi and Svalyava.
Heavy snow is expected in the highlands of the Rakhiv district. It may worsen the way through the Yablunetskyi mountain pass.
The temperature of the air has dropped a few degrees. The bad weather will last for five days. It will result in flooding in some areas.
