At today’s press conference, the Mayor, answering the question whether any extensive road repairs were planned, Victor Pogorelov said that the plans were quite ambitious.

"Yes, we continue working. On Mukachivska, we will finish with sidewalks once the weather is good. We have a lot of streets scheduled, a lot … For overhaul: Peremoha-Kapushanska, Teatralna Square, Lehotsky street. Many streets are scheduled for routine repairs with lower expenses: Mozhaisky, for example. We can not do it only at the expense of the city budget and will ask the regional council and administration to help with finances and perhaps their contractors and repair several roads. And not with patch repair, but completely – with the replacement of stormwater drains, all issues resolved. For we know that if there is no sewer, road repair issues can arise each month: if the water is not drained, it destroys the road" – Victor Pogorelov said.
