June 2, in the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka" there will be the premiere performance of "Cinderella. Memories of the impossible." It is created by a writer and playwright Tamara Gabbe based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault.
The Stage Director is Honoured Artist of Ukraine Natalia Oryeshnikova who said that the idea is based on education. Every girl dreams about something, so this story is a dream. The actress, who tells the tale of Cinderella, is remembering her past and seeking answers to vital questions.
Children audience after watching the play wondered how actors can play 3-4 roles. Indeed, there are only two actresses – Svitlana Kobzysta and Svitlana Kotyk, and each of them has several roles.
The director of the puppetry Miroslav Petiy concluded: "Classic play is not easy to do, as there are many versions already. But Natalia Oryeshnikova through the prism of her vision showed an interesting version. Dolls on stage are similar to those which our children play with, so they were picked very well. Younger viewers will be interested to see dresses, shoes and, of course, the perormance of actors. It is not easy to create a story on stage by only two people, but the actors did it perfectly. So we are looking forward to the premiere," – he said.
The premiere will take place on June 2 at 11.00 and 13.00, the duration is 50 min. "Cinderella" is recommended for children of five years and older and is family safe.
