The “Zakarpathaz” PJSC will take care of the mobilized employees

The "Zakarpathaz" PJSC keeps jobs and salary of the mobilized employees. The company is guided by the amendments to the legislation of Ukraine to provide guarantees for workers for the time of execution of mobilization duties, which came into force on April 1, 2014. Thus, the mobilized workers can be sure of their future and adequately perform their military duty.

Given the fact that the military enlistment offices in Transcarpathian region began preparing for the tasks to mobilize human and transport resources to military units and institutions under the plan, in March 2014 the mobilization also affected the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC. Since the summons were received prior to April 1, the company at that time was guided by Art. 36 Clause 3 of the Labour Code, which stated that the citizens of Ukraine, drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, should resign from work with guarantee of reinstatement in office after the mobilization.

  According to the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Ensuring Mobilization", which came into force on April 1, 2014, the citizens of Ukraine, who serve in the Armed Forces during mobilization, for a cetain period of time, but not more than one year, retain their jobs (positions), the average salary at the enterprise, institution, organization, regardless of their subordination and forms of ownership.

 "We all understand that now is a special period in the life of our country, when we need to create adequate mobilization schemes to guarantee the proper functioning of the economy, to protect jobs and wages, maintaining social peace and harmony, providing the state with necessary resources in challenging times. We will make sure that employees could return to their jobs after the mobilization. Because there are not many professionals of our level in the gas sector. Therefore, we appreciate every worker" – the head of the personnel department of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC Oksana Ternushchak said.

All the mobilized employees of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC, that are currently on the military service, will be reinstated after the mobilization, making a corresponding entry in the workbook. To ensure efficient operation of the company, the duties of the mobilized employees were distributed between other workers in compliance with the terms of the collective agreement of the enterprise.
