The Transcarpathian Hungarian tourist council aims to popularise the traditional Hungarian meals among the locals and the tourists arriving from other regions of Ukraine and from abroad. The Hungarian cuisine is one of the many specialities of Transcarpathia. This treasure should be preserved and looked after with joint efforts. Thus, it enriches the touristic potential of the region.
Such event is named ‘Fat Thursday’ in Western European countries. It lasts only one day. The Transcarpathian Hungarian tourist council decided to broaden the action for a whole week. It is considered to be more effective to popularise the event.
During the Week of Hungarian cuisine, there are discounts up to 25% in the restaurants participating in the event. The will reach their peek on ‘Fat Thursday’. It is going to be 17 March when prices will halve.
We invite to participate in the event cafés, candy shops, hosts of wine cellars and other members of the tourist business.
