The 337th anniversary of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly was celebrated in the Mukachevo Historical Museum "Palanok Castle".
The solemn event was announced by the shots from cannons near the Palanok castle.
The festive event began at 13.00 with a solemn procession. At the castle gate, guests of the festival were waiting for the arrival of Ilona and Imre.
The rulers of the Palanok castle arrived in a snow-white coach and, accompanied by people, headed for the courtyard of the fortress.
After receiving the blessing from Bartosz, Imre and Ilona headed to the altar where they were wed.
In the evening, from 19:00 to 22:00, guests of the festival will be able to listen to charming harp melodies by Zden Teslich, performance of the string quartet under the direction of Serhiy Dobosh, performance of the Kings & Beggars medieval ensemble and watch fire show from "Fire Life" Fire Theater (Uzhgorod).
