The Transcarpathian Regional State Administration explained the decision to introduce restricted access and install a turnstile

The press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration commented on the controversial decision to introduce restricted access.

The decision on the temporary introduction of the restricted access was made by the acting head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksiy Hetmanenko and the chairman of the regional council Mykhailo Rivis. On April 7, they signed a joint order. The officials cited an epidec ourbreak when 10 government employees got infected with COVID-19.

The metal structure does not close the passage, but narrows it so that everyone undergoes temperature screening, which is mandatory during the quarantine, – the press service of the regional state administration informed.
