The procedure for the control over public land use and protection, land and environmental legislation compliance is to be adopted in Mukachevo. The appropriate draft decision has been developed at the City Council.
The document is designed to create orderly and transparent system for the control over land use and protection in Mukachevo. It should stimulate land users to comply with current legislation in the sphere of land relations; ensure timely payment of the rent for the land to the city budget by exercising control over comliance with land lease terms by land users.
In addition, in Mukachevo, they plan to settle issues related to the ability to identify squatted land, compliance with land legislation and established procedures of acqusition and exercising of the right to land; provision of consultations and advice to land owners and land users on land use and protection; protection of the rights of land owners and land users by resolving land disputes within the city and the observance of the rules of good neighborliness; definition of the powers of the authorities involved in the implementation of self-government control.
It is also planned to establish the commission for the control over public land use and protection, compliance with environmental and land laws on the territory of Mukachevo.
