The State Financial Services Commission, by its order №2863 dd. October 2, 2014. temporarily suspended licenses for provision of insurance services issued to the "TAS" Insurance Group" JSC for violation of legislation on financial services.
This was reported on the website of the regulator, the "Interfax-Ukraine" informed.
They suspended licenses for provision of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners, voluntary insurance of motor vehicles (other than railway), voluntary health insurance (permanent health insurance).
"The State Financial Services Commission demands from the company to fulfill its obligations under the contracts concluded with consumers of financial services and to stop violations that are the basis for the temporary suspension of the license," – the statement reads.
The "TAS" Insurance Group was founded in 1998, it is a versatile company that offers customers more than 80 types of insurance products on different types of voluntary and compulsory insurance.
As reported by the media, the owner of the business and finance group TAS, which included TAS-InvestBank, TAS-CommerzBank, TAS-BusinessBank, TAS insurance company, family medicine clinic and others, is Serhiy Tihipko.
