Today, in Uzhgorod, the soldiers killed during the exercises at the training range near Rivne – mortar battery commander captain Valeriy Tykhonovsky and senior gunman of the 1st mortar platoon of the mortar battery Dmytro Vlasov – were buried on the Alley of Heroes on the Hill of Glory.
The funeral service took place near the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater; colleagues, relatives, friends of the victims, the leadership of the region and the city put the flowers to the coffins, the press service of the City Council informed.
According to eyewitnesses, the first drops of rain in Uzhgorod fell once the soldiers were buried…
Recall that another victim Yuriy Pyshkar will be buried tomorrow in his native village in Perechyn district. 9 more soldiers were injured, three of them are in grave condition.
