The seminar “Social Entrepreneurship: the American Experience” will take place in Uzhgorod

"Social Entrepreneurship: The American Experience" is the title of the seminar that will take place tomorrow, November 27, in the small hall of the RSA. Representatives of public organizations and all those who are interested in the idea of creating a social enterprise are invited to participate. 
The event is organized by representatives of Transcarpathian NGOs who have recently returned from the United States (Corvallis, Oregon), where they had internships. Uzhgorod is a sister city of Corvallis. The internship was part of a delegation exchange program that is one of the activities of the Twin Cities Association. 
During the seminar, the delegates will share their impressions, reveal the secrets of the success of American public and government associations, cooperatives engaged in social entrepreneurship. There is a practical part during which the participants will be able to come up with their own ideas. 
The program of the seminar: 
– presentation of models of social entrepreneurship using specific examples of activities of American NGOs and government agencies; 
– analysis and discussion; 
– work in groups on specific ideas of social business projects; 
– generating ideas on the implementation of social entrepreneurship in the activities of public organizations in Transcarpathia; 
– discussion of risks and prospects. 
The seminar will be held in the premises of the Transcarpathian Regional Council (Small Hall).
