Commercial gas deliveries to Ukraine from Slovakia in the reverse direction via the reconstructed Voyany-Uzhgorod pipeline will begin September 2, the planned ammount is 27 million cubic meters of gas per day.
This was announced by a representative of the Slovak gas transportation system operator – the Eustream Vagram Chuhuryan, "112 Ukraine" reported.
"The official start of commercial gas supplies to Ukraine in the reverse direction via the Voyany-Uzhgorod pipeline is scheduled for 12:00 September 2," – Chuhuryan said.
"According to the plan, starting today, the amount of supply is to be 27 million cubic meters of gas per day, or about 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year," – he added.
According to media reports, the cost of gas in reverse supply from Slovakia is 360 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
