Repair of Mukachivska Street has finally ended and now it is open to motorists – reported municipal utility service. According to Deputy Mayor Vitaly Semal, the last "finishing touches" – trimming of trees – were completed today. And starting from 11 o’clock the cars has been testing the street after repair. Actually, as uzhgorod.in informed, the city officials announced that it will be finished by August 16. Not so happened, as it should have happened – the works were performed in several stages, with laments about the inconsistency of documents, lack of asphalt and weather conditions.
Meanwhile, as previously reported by uzhgorod.in, traffic on the Shvabska street is blocked. The repair will take at least several weeks. And knowing that Uzhgorod public utilities always have "objective reasons" for the delay, drivers should probably get used to the alternate route. Moreover, after the repair the street will be one-way only – the traffic will be opened only in the direction from the Petefi square to the Mynaiska street.
