561,000 UAH was allocated from the regional budget in the first quarter of this year to finance the events of the regional program for development of art and culture.
Most of it – 225,000 UAH – is to be spent on the celebration and presentation of regional awards in literature and art in 2013, 100,000 UAH – for touring of regional art groups dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko, another 20,000 UAH will be spent on Shevchenko literary and artistic theatrical festival, 15,000 UAH – on cultural and artistic project "Castles and museums of Transcarpathia" on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko, 50,000 UAH is planned to be spent on the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the declaration of Carpatho-Ukraine.
17,000 UAH were allocated for the gala concert and ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "Best Transcarpathian – 2013." 15,000 UAH have already been used to organize a meeting-requiem on the occasion of the Day of commemoration of the combatants in Afghanistan.
