The main issue at the meeting of the Council under the Chairman of the Football Federation of Transcarpathia was the consideration of the incident during a match in Dubove, the federation’s website informs.
It concerns the incident (beating of a referee) on the 7th match date of the championship of the region between FC "Karpaty" (Dubove) and FC "Polyana". The worst thing is that it is not clear who and how will ensure the order and security of home games. Which referee would want to go to Dubove after that? The problem was further complicated by the fact that they still can not find… the referee of that ill-fated match. He has just… disappeared. Another criminal proceeding has been opened.
As for the consideration of the matter on the merits… There were many discussions, even with shouting. The participants of the meeting heard the participants of the match: the line referee, the delegate of the FFT, the representatives of the teams, the management of the FC "Karpaty"… The Federation itself is in the worst position. After all, on the one hand, it is necessary to punish the club in order to prevent such situations from happening again. On the other hand, it is necessary to ensure the development of football in the countryside, to encourage local teams, in particular, to take part in regional competitions at a high level.
In the end, they voted to disqualify: the stadium in Dubove until the end of the 2nd round; player of the "Karpaty" Mykola Pryimak – for one year. Plus, of course, penalties. At the same, other persons involved the incident will be identified, video and other materials will be examined. If any individuals related to football are proven guilty, they will also be punished in accordance with the regulations.
