The rally to celebrate the 77th anniversary of proclamation of the independence of Carpathian Ukraine took place near the city of Khust, at the memorial complex "Krasne Pole". It is at this spot where on March 15, 1939, Carpathian Sich fighters, most of whom were still young men, died for freedom of the proclaimed state in an uphill battle with the Hungarian fascist troops
