Kyiv Local Prosecutor’s Office No. 2 filed an appeal against the decision of the Darnytskyi District Court, which imposed on the two men detained in the capital with 6.5 kg of explosives and ammunition a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention for a term of 60 days with the possibility of the release on bail in the amount of 256,000 UAH for each.
This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Kyiv.
"The prosecution party believes that the court of the first instance, having upheld the prosecutor’s request to impose on the suspects a pre-trial restraint, did not take into account the risks and set the amount of bail that was insufficient to ensure the proper conduct of the suspects. In connection with this, in the appeal, the prosecutor’s office asks the court to impose on the suspects a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention, increasing the amount of bail to 2 million hryvnias," – the statement reads.

The detainees were notified of being suspected under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
