The project “Transcarpathian dialogues” initiates intelligent communication of different cultures of Transcarpathia

uzhgorod.in has already announced a new cultural project "Transcarpathian dialogues" launched at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, known Ukrainian writer, screenwriter and journalist Andriy Kurkov and supported by the Department of Culture of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration

Similar to the "Bessarabian dialogues", which lasted from November to December 2015 in Odesa region, the Transcarpathian project also aims to establish an intelligent dialogue between different cultures living in one region.

During March 16-18, the manager of the "Transcarpathian dialogues" Andriy Kurkov and guests – Halyna Vdovichenko and Halyna Kruk, as well as leading Transcarpathian writers led by the project coordinator in Transcarpathia Mykhailo Roshko will visit several localities in the region, particularly in Beregovo and Vynogradiv districts. The cultural delegation will meet with representatives of local authorities and the public, cultural and creative intellectuals, educators. The dialogues will be on the topics "Writer and war. Writing during the conflict", "Historical myth and historical truth – their impact on the present", "Imagine the Carpathian Mountains. How to develop imagination?", "The man between politics and culture" and so on.

March 16 at 12.30, in the reading room of Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library, there will be a press conference, during which the project participants will tell more about the background and purpose of the "Transcarpathian dialogues."
