According to the "Government portal", the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko on the "Channel 5" said that gas prices would not increase in the heating season 2017-2018: "Now, there is a clear decision that the price of gas in this heating season will not increase. And in the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018, the price of gas is set at the level of 2017," – he said.
The Vice Prime Minister also noted that currently there is no reason to raise prices for housing and communal services. "The most difficult stage in autumn has always been the rise in gas prices, but the price of gas will not increase, and therefore there is no reason to increase the cost of housing and communal services, and there is no reason for significant inflation in the autumn-winter period," – Pavlo Rozenko noted.
"Therefore, it is very important for us to be able to update pensions in October and give pensioners more resources, so that they would feel the increase in quality of life," – he stressed.
