The “political” decision of Mukachevo City Council was also canceled by the court

Transcarpathian Regional Administrative Court upheld the lawsuit of Mukachevo city prosecutor and canceled the illegal decision of the extraordinary session of the VI convocation of Mukachevo City Council dd. January 25, 2014 "On the social and political situation in Ukraine".

 
     Prosecutors proved in court that the decision of the City Council "On the socio-political situation in Ukraine" is illegal, contrary to the Constitution of Ukraine and the law currently in force and that by adopting this decision, the city council exceeded its powers – the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region reported.

And in Uzhgorod, at the last session, a similar document was adopted not as a decision but as an appeal from the deputies that makes it impossible to challenge it in court.
