Uzhgorod police received a report of an accident on Bercheni street. The police officers found out that the driver of a Mazda had injured a cyclist. The victim – a 62-year-old resident of Onokivtsi village – with a polytrauma was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car was quickly found. It was established that the Mazda was driven by a 69-year-old female resident of the regional center.

The police began the investigation into the accident with victims. A criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie, violation of the traffic rules, which caused grave bodily harm to the victims. The investigation continues.
