Employees of the Khust Police Department are establishing the circumstances of the accident, where a Mercedes-Benz hit a VAZ 2103, after which the latter drove into a ditch. A female passenger of the VAZ was hospitalized.
On May 5, the police received a report from doctors that a patient after an accident had been admitted to the hospital. The employees of the Khust Police Department arrived at the scene of the accident and found out that a car VAZ 2103, which was moving between the villages of Zolotaryovo and Danylovo, had hit another vehicle. The 34-year-old driver said that he had felt an impact from behind, lost control and drove into the ditch. Law enforcers found out that a 26-year-old resident of the village of Dragovo was driving the Mercedes-Benz, lost control and hit VAZ 2103.
As a result of the accident, a passenger of the VAZ 2103 sufferred a head injury and is in the intensive care unit in severe condition. The drivers were tested, they were sober.
The police opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the CCU. The investigation continues.
