According to the statement on the website of the National Police, the police notified the organizer of the attack on the Roma camp, a 20-year-old resident of Lviv, of being suspected of committing an offense set forth in clause 12 of Part 2 of Art.115 (an intentional murder committed by a group of persons) of the Criminal the Code of Ukraine. Under this article, he faces imprisonment for up to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
It was also reported that yesterday, June 25, the Pustomyty court imposed on two minors aged 16 and 17, who were also involved in the attack on the camp, a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention for sixty days without the right to be released on bail.
A court hearing to impose pre-trial restraint on the other suspects in this crime was supposed to be held today.
Recall that on Saturday, June 23, in Lviv, a group of people attacked a Roma camp from Transcarpathia and killed one person.
