Two businessmen were not granted permits for non-stop operation mode in the "Panorama" bar, located in Uzhgorod at Tolstoy Street, 5. This was decided by the members of the executive committee today, December 27.
The draft decision provided for approval of non-stop operation in the "Panorama" bar for private entrepreneurs Paida V. and private entrepreneur Bahanych M.
Speaking on this issue, the Head of Economics and Business Department Mykhailo Stankovich said that the city police department by phone had asked not to approve non-stop operation mode in the "Panorama" bar.
The Mayor said that they should listen to the opinion of the police, because it is the police, and not members of the Executive Committee, that have to deal with "night fights".
The night club "Panorama" is known as a place of night entertainment for young people, it is located on the upper floors of the "Lion" complex.
However, by the same decision, the executive committee allowed the non-stop operation for gas stations at Peremoha Street, 143b and on the bypass road.
By another decision, members of the executive committee allowed to sell street patty-cakes on Fedynets Street, Svoboda Avenue, Peremoha Street in front of the regional hospital. Also, they approved the sale of paintings on Petofi Sq., near the pedestrian bridge.
