The Department of Infrastructure, Development and Maintenance of the Network of Public Roads and Housing and Communal Services of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration prepared a draft letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to speed up the signing of the Agreement (in the form of a note exchange) between the Government of Romania and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the opening of a checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Romanian state border between the settlements of Bila Tserkva and Sighetu Marmatiei. This was reported by the director of the department Eduard Malyar on Facebook.

The Department, together with the Rakhiv Regional State Administration, has signed a contract for the development of a detailed plan of the territory outside settlements for the construction of a checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Romanian border "Bila Tserkva – Sighetu Maratsiei" in accordance with the Program of Infrastructure Development in Transcarpathian Region for 2018 – 2222," – the message says.
Now the next step is to sign an agreement between the two governments.
