The Ministry of Income: sold mushrooms – pay the tax

Harvesting of hay, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, berries, medicinal plants and other forest products shall be taxable with the fee for special use of forest resources.This year, additional forests resources brought to budgets of Transcarpathia 216,000 UAH, exceeding the previous year figure by 9,000 UAH.

The regional office of the Ministry of Income reminds: if citizens deliver the gathered products to procurement organizations, enterprises, institutions, individual entrepreneurs, then the tax on personal income shall be paid to the budget by the entities (tax agents). If citizens sell mushrooms, berries and other forest resources on the market, they must contact the tax office at the place of residents, declare the income and pay the tax on personal income.
