The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine requires Transcarpathian schools to report on the funds provided by Hungary

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demanded that the Hungarian-language educational institutions of the region urgently submit reports on the financial assistance provided by Hungary over the last 5 years
This was reported by the head of the Association of Hungarian Educators of Transcarpathia (KMPSZ), a deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council from KMKSZ, and the rector of the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute Ildika Oros.
According to her, the request concerns over 200 kindergartens and schools in Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. According to the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the check is necessary to intensify the fight against corruption, ensure transparency and rational use of the received funds and their clearer accounting.
According to I.Oros, all that is another attack on the Hungarian community of the region, an attempt to intimidate its representatives.
"The Transcarpathian Hungarians have been subjected to another political pressure, and the Ukrainian party still has not understood that we are partners and citizens of this country," – I.Oros said.
According to the sources of the Zakarpattya online in the regional government, the checks on the financial activities of Hungarian organizations in the region were initiated by the new government.
