Next spring, a silver spruce tree will be planted on the square in front of the RSA, which in the future will become the main Christmas decoration of the region.
Today, the main Christmas tree of the region was set up on Narodna Square in front of the Regional State Administration in Uzhgorod.
The tree was delivered yesterday by workers of the Regional Forestry and Hunting Range Administration. Its main parameters are: age – 85 years, origin – the village in Yasinya in Rakhiv region, height – 20 meters, trunk diameter – half a meter, the swing of lower branches – 8 meters.
The Christmas tree will be decorated with a kilometer of fairy-lights and more than four hundred balls. Since 2017 is the Year of Fire Rooster, the main decoration color is red. It is planned to finish decorating the Christmas tree on the square by Wednesday, and at the same time, a 9-meter-high Christmas tree is being set up in the atrium of the RSA. The grand opening of the main regional Christmas tree will be held on St. Nicholas Day – December 19.
