As announced by the Mukachevo City Council, today, June 11, the largest Palace of Culture and Arts in the region was opened.
The largest Palace of Culture and Arts in the region has the area of 3.5 thousand square meters.
Dmytro Razumkov, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, attended the opening. He and Andriy Baloha cut the ribbon.
People’s deputies of Ukraine and the art community of the city came to see the renovated Palace. Previously, this building housed the Trade Academy, and later the House of Officers. More than 40 million hryvnias was allocated from the city budget for the renovation of the building. Over the past two years, the territory has been completely reconstructed and landscaped.
The exterior harmoniously fits into the architecture of the city. A concert hall for 500 seats was completed. The Palace of Culture will have the largest professional recording studio in the region with special sound insulation and expensive, modern equipment.
“In total, there will be more than 20 rehearsal classrooms, a screen measuring 4 by 6 meters in 8 k format. There are dance and conference halls with an area of over one hundred square meters, director’s room, dressing rooms, server rooms. All offices have modern technical equipment and furniture, new communications, air conditioning and ventilation system, Mukachevo City Council informed on its Facebook page.
