The funeral ceremony is taking place in the Assumption Cathedral of Greek Catholic Church.
Soldiers, relatives, government officials, and townspeople came to say goodbye to the fallen soldier of the 128th brigade Mykhailo Pokydchenko.
After the funeral ceremony, the Hero will be buried at the central cemetery of Mukachevo.
Mykhailo Pokydchenko is a volunteer, who participated in the battles for Pisky, Spartak, Avdiyivka, Butovka Mine. In the spring of 2016, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces. He was killed by the enemy machine gunner near Opytne on December 5.
The Hero is survived by two little daughters, a brother, sisters and parents.
Yesterday, there was a memorial service on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
