Today, January 21, the first Forum of Initiatives entitled "Transcarpathian economic experiment" has started in Transcarpathia. The Forum brought together heads of 60 most powerful enterprises in Transcarpathia. The event was initiated by the head of the Association of Employers Organization "Zakarpattya" Volodymyr Panov and the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal. The sponsor support is provided by Igor Tsarenko, the CEO of the "Eurocar" PJSC, and Milos Bosak, the director of the "Yazaki Ukraine". The Forum has consolidated representatives of business, expert and public communities, heads of executive authorities, experts and leaders of business associations, media.
The venues of the Forum is the territory of the "Eurocar" plant. This kind of meeting is held there for the first time and aims to underline the symbolism of the event: each plant can work even better if the government hears business.
Opening the Forum of Initiatives Hennadiy Moskal, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, said: "We want to show that business and government are united. We have completely depoliticized the state apparatus. No business can say that during my tenure the government initiated any inspection, wanted to punish anyone. The government must not be engaged in politics, but help develop business in Transcarpathia."
According to the co-organizer of the Forum Volodymyr Panov, the idea of the Forum arose after entrepreneurs began to discuss the question: how to make a quality jump in the region, to make business develop better. "There were many ideas, discussions went beyond just meetings, so the idea to organize the Forum of Initiatives sprang up," – Volodymyr Panov said.
