The fate of the acting mayor of Uzhgorod will be decided on August 29

The meeting of the city council in Uzhgorod will be held on August 29. One of the issues, proposed for consideration by the deputies, is the early dismissal of the City Council Secretary V. Shchadey

Back on August 1, the acting mayor Victor Shchadey, under pressure from activists who had come to his office, signed the document "On convening an extraordinary session", which will decide whether he will stay on his post.

To do this, deputies had to collect 21 signatures for convening an extraordinary session. Eventually, they have collected the signatures, and the fate of the Acting Mayor will be decided on August 29.
