Uzhgorod Palachinta 2020 will be held on February 14-16 in the parking lot near the Dastor shopping center.
The organizers have released the full program of the event.
Day 1. 14.02. Valentine’s Day
11:00 – Opening of festival locations.
13:00 – Opening of the festival.
13:10 – Performance of folk groups.
14:30 – show for children aged 5 to 100.
16:00 – Folklore ensemble "Dzherela" of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN".
16:30 – Show program from the exemplary group "PADIYUN Production Center".
17:00 – Big Valentine’s Day raffle.
18:30 – Forever Young preparty.
19:00 – Vinyl Palachinta (Vinyl DJ-set by Max Rudskoi).
Day 2. 15.02. Pancakes Day
11:00 – Opening of festival locations.
12:00 – Competition for the most delicious pancakes.
14:30 – show for children aged 5 to 100.
16:00 – Performance of folk groups.
18:00 – band Marina and Company.
19:00 – Disco.
Day 3. 16.02. Farewell to Winter
11:00 – Opening of festival locations.
12:00 – Open Winter Bench Press Championship of Uzhgorod "Iron Palachinta".
14:30 – show for children aged 5 to 100.
16:00 – Performance of folk groups.
18:00 – band Antsya. Premiere of the song "I Love Palachinta".
19:00 – Dragon Fly Fire Show. Burning of the "winter mara".
During all three days of the festival:
– traditional Transcarpathian dishes, tasting of drinks, wine, honey, pancakes, etc.
– fun entertainment and contests from the presenters
– children’s play area with entertainers
– prizes for men who climb up the pillar
– themed photo zones
– win-win lottery – charity events.
February 14, 15, 16 Dastor gives 50 UAH for a 500 UAH check! The certificate can be exchanged for any food at Uzhgorod Palachinta.
