The chairman of the Mukachevo City and District Court has been elected

Yesterday, on May 19, a meeting of judges of the Mukachevo City and District Court of Transcarpathian region took place, during which the chairman of the said court was elected.
The election to the administrative position took place in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” by secret ballot by the majority of the court judges.
According to the court’s press service, Judge Kotubey Ivan Ivanovych was re-elected as the chairman of the Mukachevo City and District Court of Transcarpathian region by secret ballot.
Background:
Ivan Kotubey has been working at the Mukachevo City District Court of Transcarpathian region since 2008. He began his career as a judge.
He has been in an administrative position since November 30, 2011. By the decision of the High Council of Justice of November 30, 2011 No. 60860/0 / 15-11, he was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Court.
On May 19, 2017, Ivan Kotubey was elected the chairman of the Mukachevo City and District Court of Transcarpathian region for a term of three years.
In addition to the administration of justice, Ivan Kotubey is engaged in research, he has a PhD in law, he is a teacher (trainer) of the National School of Judges of Ukraine, participates in the training of candidates for the position of judge and the development of trainings for judges.
