The border guards detained a Pole who was wanted by Interpol for financial fraud

Last night, at the checkpoint "Vylok", the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment found a 54-year-old citizen of Poland, who was in the international wanted list.

During the document check, it turned out that he was recorded in the Interpol database. While establishing the circumstances, it became known that the man was wanted by law enforcement officers of the Republic of Poland for money laundering, financial fraud and organized criminal activity.  

Having realized that he had been identified, the foreigner tried to run away from the border guards thus committing another offense, the responsibility for which is provided for in Article 185-10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

After making the report on administrative offense, the detainee was handed over to representatives of the National Police.
