The bill on introduction of a currency sales tax in Ukraine is no longer in the database of the Parliament.
The speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn posted this information on his page on the social network Facebook.
"Please calm down, this draft law is not in the database of the Verkhovna Rada anymore. I think that this lesson will benefit everyone," – Lytvyn wrote.
November 20, the Committee on Finance, Banking, Tax and Customs Policy proposed to withdraw the draft law on the taxation of foreign currency operations in order to complete it.
After that the Rada postponed the consideration of the scandalous bill based on the decision of the relevant committee.
The author of the bill number 11433 dd. November 16, 2012 is the chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, banking, tax and customs policy, the member of the Party of Regions Vitaly Homutynnyk.
According to the document, the list of payers of the obligatory state pension insurance is proposed to include individuals engaged in the sale of foreign currency for cash hryvnia. The tax will be calculated at the official exchange rate of hryvnia to foreign currencies on the day of the transaction.
If passed, the law will come into force 60 days after its publication.
