Today, July 7, at the football field in the village of Polyana (Svalyava district), there was the final match of the Child and Youth Football League in the U-16 age group, the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
The head of the Football Federation of Ukraine Anatoliy Kon’kov came to Transcarpathia to see the final confrontation.
In total, 40 teams competed for the victory. Teams "BRW-VIK" of Volodymyr-Volynsk, "Illichevets" (Mariupol), "Dynamo" (Kyiv), "Shakhtar" (Donetsk) got to the final part of the Championship in the U-16 category.
Teams from Kyiv and Donetsk played in the final match. In the first half, the score was not opened. But on the 56th minute into the match, it turned to 1-0 in favor of "Shakhtar". A few minutes later, as a result of Dynamo’s successful attack, the score was equalized – 1:1. The fate of the game was determined at the last minute of the match – the ball got in the goal of the Donetsk team.
