The 16-storeyed building is smoking

According to the spokesperson of the State Emergencies Service Office, the alarm in Uzhgorod arose because of a smoke in the 16-storeyed building.

While residents of the building reported about a fire in one of the apartments, the alarm arose because of a smoke in a ventilation duct. This was determined by rescuers at the scene. Since it is a big residential building, quite a lot of them were sent there. They are not eliminating the fire, because there is no actual fire.

Currently, the residents of the house are being evacuated, paramedics and the police arrived at the scene. Experts are establishing all the circumstances.
