During a series of search operations in a rented warehouse at one of the plants in Uzhgorod, they found a storage of consumer goods. According to preliminary information, the quality clothing, shoes and accessories of famous brands (Prada, Bolonini, Nexxn, Prince, Hugo Boss and others) were imported to Ukraine without paying taxes and customs duties. The goods were imported into the territory of Ukraine through customs checkpoints of the region in small batches. They were stored in the warehouse, and later they planned to sell them in other regions of Ukraine.
The information on the criminal offense is listed in the Unified registry of pre-trial investigations. Investigators of the tax police launched pre-trial investigation. Measures to establish the circumstances and persons involved in illegal activities are being taken.
