A working group has been established at the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region which will be taking measures for the control of the market of excisable goods on the eve of and during the New Year’s and Christmas holidays.
In particular, the activities of this group are aimed at countering the illicit trade in excisable products, shutting down underground shops, closing smuggling channels, inspecting storage sites and trading networks. If necessary, specialists of other divisions of the SFS, law enforcement and controlling bodies will be involved in the activities of the operational staff.
The SFS office notes that, for their part, they will be taking maximum operational measures to combat the black market of excisable goods, in particular, the market for vodka products.
