We visited three Carpathian apiaries to find out if the honey was sweet? Beekeepers of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod as well as near Chop tell: near the hives there is always much work to do. But this kind of work also brings much pleasure.
After Honey Spas beekeepers summarize the season. And now the Transcarpathian beekeepers are preparing to take a little honey from hives – the season is coming to an end. They complain that there is lack of sweet nectar in droughty summer than usually and this year the bees should be fed by their hosts and not vice versa. But in any case, their hardworking feeders shall not be left in trouble: they will be warmed and fed in winter. And yet Carpathian bees are still bring nectar and pollen to their hives as hot though sweet summer is still in its swing. Have a sweet life, dear beekeepers!
