From 20 to 30 of September, the plen air "Masaryk. Our history and our present" was taking place in the village of Korolevo in Vynogradiv district, and the plein air "Lemko pastels. Four seasons" is taking place from 5 to 15 of October in Stuzhytsia of Velyky Berezny distrit. On October 9, the exhibition of the works from the plein airs was officially opened in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration in Uzhgorod. It features over 60 paintings by about 20 authors.
The event was preceded by a press conference with the participation of the organizer of the plein air and the curator of the exhibition Yuriy Dik, and two artists, Egor Dulin from Lysychansk, Luhansk region, and Oleksandr Yurchenko from Kryvyi Rih. Yuriy Dik noted that he had deliberately invited to the art events artists from different generations and various paintings schools (Crimean, Kharkiv, Odesa, Transcarpathian, etc.). Because it is communication, exchange of experience, Oleksandr Yurchenko added.
The vernissage in the atrium was opened by the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Ildika Molnar, already mentioned Yuriy Dik and the guests – diplomats of the Consulate General of Slovakia and Hungary in Uzhgorod, priest Ivan Isayevich, who is a co-organizer of the plein air in Korolevo. They said that they were very happy to receive the artists from different regions of Ukraine, who depict Transcarpathia on their canvases.
The Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration presented the artists album "Cartoons. Adalbert Erdelyi", which was published last year in Uzhgorod’s "Oleksandra Harkusha’s Publishing House".
