“Spark Flashes” by Ivan Chendey was presented in Uzhgorod

A collection of aphorisms by the winner of T.Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine Ivan Chendey "Spark Flashes" was presented yesterday at the press center “Zakarpattya".

Yesterday, on May 17, was a real birthday of the great artist of words, as his daughter Maria said.
It was her who quite unexpectedly, after her father had died, found a notebook with his short but very nimble sayings. These aphorisms are still topical nowadays. And nobody doubts that they will be topical for a long time.
"The idea to publish this book appeared long ago: a year after my father passed away. The notebook with aphorisms returned to me my father-adviser, because there is the sea of wisdom, advice in it. Even when he was alive people often addressed him for advice. Even now, having opened the book, you can find answers to burning questions. These generalizations are the fruit of great life experience. My father is invisibly with me thank to this book", said Maria Chendey.
"Spark Flashes" was brought out a month ago, in April, by the publishing house "Lira". Its director, Elena Kukharskaya maintains that, in her opinion, she does not even have the right to comment on the content of this book. "Maybe it’s not my level and I don’t have enough wisdom to say something intelligent about this little book", she said and thanked the family of the writer for preserving the heritage and providing it for processing.
