Shchadey promised not to run for the mayor

"I have been living in Uzhgorod since 1997, I am 32 years old" – Victor Shchadey began his speech answering the questions from the audience when he was nominated for the secretary.

Shchadey: "My office of the secretary and the acting mayor is only for a transitional period, to ensure the livelihoods of the city. The situation is complicated, we will do everything possible to save Uzhgorod".

"I promise not to run for the mayor in the elections to be." At the session on Thursday, I propose to develop a draft decision on the appeal to the Parliament on early elections of the mayor.

"The City Council will work as transparently as possible, we will expand the facilities of the Department of citizens’ appeals." It is also agreed that anyone in the city council, who will use corruption schemes, and anything contrary to ideas of Euromaidan representatives, will resign.

"Please, control me. And one more thing, the people in the city government, who are now in their offices, stay there."
