Recently, the construction of an 840-meter-long bicycle track has started in in Uzhgorod, on Mykhailo Hrushevsky street. The track will be made of cobblestone, an appropriate road marking will be applied onto it, road signs will be installed, and several parking racks will be provided.
According to the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv, who inspected the work progress today, it is also planned to arrange bicycle paths on 8 Bereznya and Tyvodar Lehotsky streets. On 8 Bereznya street, the preparatory works will begin this year and will continue in 2018. Also the repair of sidewalks on these streets is planned for the next year, the press service of Uzhgorod city council informs.
