Saffron flowering has just started, the peak is expected on March 20. It is not about picking and selling flowers in cities, but the organization of tours. And for tourists, it is an opportunity to enjoy an unusual view of awakening Carpathian nature.
Kolochava Museum of Folk Architecture and Life "Old Village" is located in a picturesque area on the outskirts of the village of Kolochava in Mizhhirya district of Transcarpathia. Tourists have an opportunity not only to enjoy the saffrons, but also to see nearly two dozen residential houses and outbuildings with household items and artwork of XIX-XX centuries.
