The 2nd festival of stewed roosters will be held on June 24, 2012, which is organized by ‘Beregovo district association of green tourism farms owners which is aimed at the folk traditions preservation of the village of Koson’ and Koson village council.
Local Transcarpathian and foreign teams will demonstrate typical for the region rooster’s dishes. There will be pancakes and other tasty dishes. The festival guests will be able to taste dishes from the rooster and local made wine after the prize places determination by the jury.
Many cultural programs will be offered in addition to gastronomic and culinary delights: ‘Catch a rooster’, ‘Rooster’s scream’, roosters buying and selling, archery demonstration, handicraft products (with a possibility to try on), folk songs and dances, children’s program, etc.
The solemn opening is at 11 a.m.
The beginning of the cultural program is at 12.30 p.m.
