The Mukachevo police identified the attacker who had beaten and robbed a local resident. The suspect faces imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years.
According to the Official site of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, investigators of the Mukachevo department completed a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings over a robbery of a resident of Mukachevo.
The police suspect a 21-year-old resident. The incident took place near the Mukachevo train station.
According to the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, during the investigation, the police found that the man attacked a passer-by, 27-year-old local resident, beat him and took his documents, a cellphone, a gold wedding ring and 4,000 hryvnias. The police identified the attacker on the same day.
The offender was notified of being suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery). The police have already sent the case with the indictment for trial. The man faces a sentence in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
