Regional Party of Regions members finance their festivals from the regional budget

This year, 2,800,000 UAH will be allocated from the regional budget for the programs of culture and art development. Most of the money – 680,000 UAH will be spent for the purchase of musical instruments and costumes for children’s art educational establishments, professional and amateur groups. 320,000 UAH have already been spent on costumes for the Transcarpathian Academic Folk Choir, another 220,000 UAH were given to the winners of regional awards in literature and art. In addition, the funds are allocated for exhibitions of paintings and the purchase of books by Transcarpathian authors for the libraries of the region.   

 Among other things, at the expense of Transcarpathian taxpayers they finance the events conducted "under the auspices of the party."  Thus, 30,000 UAH were spent for the meeting-requiem to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine and for the festival dedicated to the holiday. 20,000 UAH from the regional budget will be spent on another two events supported by Transcarpathian Party of Regions – the festival "Friendship without borders – "BEREG FEST -2013" and the III Open International Festival of Arts "Ivan Popovich gathers talents".
